Shipping and delivery
This is a starter document and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It must be checked against South African law (POPIA, the Consumer Protection Act and ECTA) and completed with Veld & Steel business details before the store opens for orders.
Who ships your order
Items are dispatched by the seller shown on the product page. An order containing items from several sellers may arrive in more than one delivery, each with its own tracking.
Timeframes and cost
- Handling time: shown on each product page.
- Delivery estimate: [add your courier estimates by region]
- Planned launch offer: free shipping on orders over R1,000. Other delivery rates will be confirmed before ordering opens.
Where we deliver
South Africa only at launch. [Confirm regions and any areas your courier cannot reach.]
If delivery is late
Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act requires goods to be delivered at the agreed date, time and place. If we cannot deliver as agreed, you may accept a later delivery or cancel and receive a full refund.
Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Until then the seller carries the risk of loss or damage in transit.
